A good indicator of whether or not you are overweight or obese is a measurement called BMI (Body Mass Index). It is calculated using one’s height and weight. It is by no means a perfect solution since it can overestimate body fat in athletes and others who have a muscular build, or underestimate body fat in older persons and others who have lost muscle.
